Canguro o.n.l.u.s. Flights Aid

HUMANITARIAN OPERATION

In June 1999, Alessandro Modia Rore, President of the Canguro O.N.L.U.S. Flights Aid Association, organised two humanitarian operations with the aim of bringing comfort to the Kosovo population tormented by the government of Belgrade's ten-year repression.

AIMS

The association put together one and a half tons of pharmaceuticals, donated by various pharmaceutical companies and transported all the material on two different flights with a Piper Navajo aircraft, rented at Cuneo airport.

On one of the return flights, someKosovan children in need of specific medical care, were transported to the hospital in Pisa.

The President of the Canguro o.n.l.u.s. Flights Aid association, Dr. Alessandro Modia Rore,would like to point out that Mr. Maurizio Gennaro's support, owner of the Piper Navajo I-.GHEP aircraft, was precious.

Mr. Gennaro put the aircraft at our disposal in exchange for a small reimbursement, disregarding insurance problems and any risks that we might have faced just to support us in our first mission. Thank you Maurizio!!!
