Canguro o.n.l.u.s. Flights Aid

MISSION

As promised in March 2007, we finally managed to return to our friends from the Tumaini Childrens Home, north of Mombasa, in mid-August.

We found thirty smiling orphans, Mrs. Smith and nurse Elisabeth, as well as smiling nannies and volunteers.

The mission was carried out at a record time of 5 working days.

AIMS

This time we arrived with 6,5 tons of products collected in Italy (food, medicines, health material, stationery and toys to be used as Christmas presents!). Schools, health facilities and district refertories also benefited from this donation.

The donation was transported by a 330 cargo airbus that Livingston airlines kindly put at our disposal free of charge together with two return tickets for the 2 participating members of the association.
Over the week-end, we took the opportunity of visiting other centres that had contacted us for possible future cooperation.

Wherever we looked, help was needed.
